The China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC) was first held in 1999, with only 68 companies participating in its inaugural edition. Since its debut, the scale and influence of the CAC exhibition have grown significantly. By 2025, the 25th session of the exhibition had expanded to 160,000 square meters, attracting 2,236 companies from both domestic and international markets. The exhibition has now developed into a key platform for the international trade and exchange of agricultural inputs, connecting the upstream and downstream sectors as well as domestic and international markets, and serving as a barometer for the global agrochemical industry.
The core of the event is the China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC), alongside four concurrent thematic exhibitions. The exhibits cover the entire agrochemical industry chain, including crop protection products such as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, acaricides, biopesticides and biocontrol technologies, and pesticide intermediates. Fertilizer products include nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers, compound fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, secondary and micronutrients, seaweed fertilizers, humic acid, amino acids, biostimulants, organic fertilizers, and microbial fertilizers. Agrochemical equipment and plant protection tools include reaction kettles, distillation towers, fermenters, centrifuges, and other production equipment and accessories, plant protection tools, and agricultural drones. Modern agricultural technologies include irrigation equipment and accessories, greenhouse horticultural supplies, smart agricultural machinery, and seeds.
During the exhibition, the China International Agrochemical Conference Week (CACW) is held, bringing together global expertise. Through a series of professional conferences such as the Plant Protection Forum, Fertilizer Forum, and Modern Agricultural Technology Forum, in-depth discussions are conducted on core topics such as the global pesticide industry status, management policies, market trends, fertilizer development and trade, biotechnology, and smart agriculture. Additionally, supporting events such as the China Pesticide Industry Development Symposium, product promotion meetings by overseas national pavilions (e.g., Australia, South Korea), and scientific research results promotion and exchange meetings are often organized during the exhibition.
The 26th session of the exhibition in 2026 is expected to cover an area of over 160,000 square meters, with more than 2,200 exhibitors and attract over 100,000 industry professionals.
